Dear Erica Anderson,

I was excited to see the listing for the Enterprise Strategy & Operations Director, as my background and experience uniquely position me to be very effective in this role. With more than twenty-three years in the insurance industry spanning sales, underwriting, product development and experience, I’ve developed a unique ability to ideate innovative solutions and influence strategic decisions where distribution, business, technology, and design collaborate to deliver tools and capabilities that inspire profitable growth.

What you’ll find with me is that I lead by example and cultivate effective partnerships built on trust, empathy, action, and accountability. I’m a strategic thinker and possess an innate curiosity to understand the “why”. I balance an appreciation for where we are today with a passion to innovate for a better tomorrow. Those who work closely with me will likely tell you I’m optimistic and energetic especially when creativity and diversity of thought are driving the conversation. I’ve had folks compliment my ability to understand the customer, solve the right problems, ground conversations, and focus and align cross-functional teams to mobilize support.

I’ve worked closely with agents for more than 15 years, sponsored large-scale programs, led the design of user experiences and process flows, managed vendor engagements, and collaborated to conduct research across the industry, multiple distribution channels, capabilities, and a variety of customer personas. I’ve grown a historically underperforming territory of agents more than $7.5 million, implemented sales strategies and approaches that turned stagnant businesses into thriving legacies, and created tools and techniques that maximize efficiency and optimize success.

Utilizing responsible transparency, I rely on effective communication to ensure teams rally around and prioritize the most impactful objectives. I believe it’s critical that team members understand how their efforts impact our broader strategic goals and that they feel empowered to excel in their roles.

I’m confident in the opportunity Allstate has as an industry leader.
